Đại dịch COVID-19 đã trực tiếp đè nặng lên tâm lí của những chuỗi cửa hàng bán lẻ khi họ chưa kịp triển khai những công nghệ kĩ thuật số, trong bối cảnh khách hàng chuyển từ mua hàng tại cửa hàng sang mua hàng trực tuyến. Cloud Ace đã làm việc với các retailer để hỗ trợ hoạt động kinh doanh của họ trong thời gian này và thấy rằng việc đầu tư vào các kênh kỹ thuật số hay “Ecommerce modernization” đóng một vai trò rất quan trọng.
